The GT
has front and rear parking sensors, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, six-way driver seat adjustment, cruise control, an eight-inch multimedia infotainment display, Apple Car Play and Android Auto with voice recognition, a six-speaker sound system with DAB digital radio with Bluetooth connectivity, power windows with auto-down on the driver?s window.

Also added to the GT model is - a navigation system with live satellite navigation traffic monitoring that uses GPS, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter and an upgraded version of AEB known as 'Fusion II', which adds pedestrian and cyclist recognition ability to the AEB system.

There?s also advanced smart cruise control, LED daytime running lights, a smart key with keyless entry and push-button start, leather Sports seats which are heated and cooled with electric adjustment and memory settings, electric folding exterior mirrors, dual-zone climate control air-conditioning and rear air vents.

Things then step up a notch with the GT boasting 18-inch alloys wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, 305mm front ventilated brake discs, LED headlights and tail-lights, a sportier body kit, gloss-black side mirrors and dual exhaust tips.

Interior features also include an eight-speaker JBL sound system, 4.2-inch multi-information display and a wireless smartphone charger,

To enhance driving dynamics, the GT has bespoke power steering and suspension calibrations, with the latter seeing a 5mm drop in ride height and an independent multi-link system at the rear rather than the standard torsion beam setup.

Behind the wheel, the Cerato GT is definitely an aggressive little thing. At its heart, the 1.6-litre turbocharged unit delivers a healthy 150kW of power and 265Nm of torque.
